Breakfast | Fruits

You *can* have fruit in the morning, fresh or canned.

  • Fresh banana
  • Fresh apple
  • Fresh fruit cup (cantelope, honeydew, pineapple, grapes)
  • Fresh red grapes
  • Canned pears
  • Canned peaches
  • Canned Mandarin Oranges
  • Applesauce (generally, Mott's?)
  • Stewed Prunes (!?)
Applesauce, in my experience, is a small tub of "Mott's". No extra sugar, but it's naturally tart and sweet enough.

Mixed fruit cup between yogurt and tossed salad
Foreground is penne with meat sauce and cauli + mashed potatoe with "gravy"

Welcome

Welcome to Picky Patient's Guide to Sutter Health Patient Menu!  Click on "Start Here" in the menu bar if you are not sure where to go.  As a former patient, I took some photos, and decided to rate the individual items.  This is meant to be a totally un-serious look at "hospital food", and no infringement or disparagement was intended. I understand it's difficult to make meals for hundreds, if not thousands of people at a time. And the ratings are a bit of... tongue-in-cheek. Any way, on with the guide.
